As the defacto designer and creative director for the club, I was tasked with creating the visual identity for the tournament and assisting with implementation across all touchpoints / deliverables.

The crest feels artful, stylized, and retro - representing the attitude and aesthetic of Palm Springs. Plus, the colorful sunset doubles as the pride palette.

The design direction of the supporting elements reinforce that Palm Springs is a retro oasis, where old-meets-new and sand-meets-sun.

A suite of social assets were designed to be used throughout the tournament weekend. The goal was to keep stretch the visual identity - allowing things to feel fresh, exciting, and celebratory.

Desert Pride Cup shirts were given out to all players. The goal was to have the shirt screaming Palm Springs through the sandy tie-dye colorway.

Jerseys were made for the 4 teams comprising the WHSC. The jerseys were directly inspired by the DPC crest and meant to look like they could belong together as a set.

I also worked with the club board to put together presentations to gather sponsorships for the tournament. And Iā€™m very happy to say that they worked, gathering several sponsors for the inaugural tournament.
